416GALLERY is a contemporary art gallery in Toronto founded and directed by abstract artist & curator Jimmy Chiale. It is located at 404 Queen street east, one black east of Parliament.
The first week of every month, the gallery showcases CHIALE's bright and colourful abstract work. The last week of every month is dedicated to a series of group shows curated by CHIALE exhibiting his collective of 50 artists.
Throughout the month, the space can be rented weekly or hourly to individual artists, collectives, local communities, and charitable/non-profit organizations with Chiale's curatorial help, if required to guarantee a successful event. The space is perfectly designed to host any small/medium scale events such as receptions, classes, photo/video shoots, installations, artists talks, workshops, movie screenings etc. All open to the community, kids and artists. The primary focus is to assist and promote local artists in Toronto by showcasing and selling their work to art lovers.
