David Harcombe

My images are intended to be snapshots of my world, creating a document of my daily life and that of my surrounding environment. My work ranges from natural scenes and man-made landscapes to intimate details of everyday objects that normally pass unnoticed.

Throughout my life, I have been both excited and influenced by people documenting the world around them, from authors such as John Pilger to the classic photography of Ansel Adams and today’s many “photo a day” bloggers.

Although primarily a photographer, I sometimes incorporate found objects into the framed prints to produce mixed media pieces.
