Margaret Lindsay Holton

Margaret Lindsay Holton is a mid-career, award-winning artist/author from the Golden Horseshoe region of Southern Ontario, Canada.

Her artworks comprise fourteen years of Canadian fine furniture design and fabrication, (understudied with her late-great cabinetmaking father), 35 years of self-taught oil & acrylic painting, (highly collectible 'naive-surreal-folk-abstracts') and over ten years of pinhole and photo-collage photography (initially inspired by the 'stillness' of Di Bos & Geoffrey James ....) Her work has been exhibited & sold via public and private galleries or auction houses in New York, Milan, Chicago, Vienna, Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Toronto.

Author of ten books of photography, poetry and prose - including the irresistible 'CANADADA: A Painter's Nature' - Lindsay continues to contribute enticing articles and beguiling imagery to local news blogs on a regular basis. See more via:
