COLLAGE WORLD is the title of Leah Dockrill's exhibition of collages at Deer Park Library, 40 St. Clair Avenue, East ,Toronto

The collages are handcut out of fine art papers, found images - some from old family photograph albums - the artist's own photography and digital art, magazine pages, etc. and are adhered to either stretched canvas or birch panels. The collages are about life: women of the 1950's, contemporary women; and people in surreal settings. The artist hopes that the images reflect empathy as well as humour as she attempts to depict common concerns.
