Artist's statement
"I see myself as a realist figurative artist; I use direct painting or classical approach, hoping that the technique I choose will reflect my interaction with each person I portray.

People around are a great source of inspiration, I find that in portrait and figure there is always something left unexplored. A special joy for me is to paint women of all ages; I'm fascinated by this (possibly) life-time project and I'm sure I will enjoy every moment. "

I began to paint and create mixed-media work in 2010. My journey began when I visited Paris, France, for the very first time. I had an argument with "someone" at Le Louvre. My claim in being an artist was in question. The root of my anger stems from the fact that being an 'artist' is not because of what I do but it is because of who I am. This argument pressed my reset button and the rest as they say is history. I married my critic at Le Louvre and blew wide-open the double doors into my creative vault.

I'm a young tattoo artist who has recently moved to Toronto from Sochi, Russia. I have completed a tattooing course in Krasnodar, Russia. After returning home, I did tattooing for one year. At the moment I'm working on my own but would like to start work at a salon as I feel I could use the platform for getting my work out there as it is my specialty.
